Snow Shuffling

Shuffling on Wooden Shoes=
Sounds like the blues.
“I woke up this morning, and everything was all white”
Well, that means ‘werk aan de winkel’ with my own fabricated snow scoop I started to clear a path to our Bicycles.
It felt good, so I did a bit more. When the sun arrived the snow was all gone. But at the neighbors it was still all white.
Let’s say it was sort of a workout.
Don’t tell anyone, sounds like sport.

North to South

Amsterdam Rokin=
Yesterday we did some shopping in Amsterdam.
They are very busy digging all around Amsterdam, making the new subway from North to South.
This thing cost billions, and went a lot of times over budget.
But for us it was great that they show how things are developing.
Across my favorite cigar store is an entrance to Hell.
They are at 15 meters digging and they stop at 27 meters that is were they have to drill the tunnel for the metro.
Impressive.

Jisp on Ice=
Sunday Anet could not resist it anymore, she had to Ice-skate so we went to Jisp.
I’m not such a skater, 15 years ago I got some Viking skates for my birthday from Anet.
3 years ago she sold them on Marktplaats because I only used them 3 or 4 times.
She likes to make tours from 3 to 5 hours on the ice and if I only think of that I’m very great-full that she sold the damn things.
Anet was skating and I went to the local pub, one “weduwe joustra” please!
mmmmm, much better.

the Great Black Cormorant

on his pole=
In this cold weather I would not expect a sea bird here in our river the Zaan.
But a week ago a whole flock of these Great Black Cormorant’s (Aalscholver in Dutch
(Phalacrocorax carbo in latin)) arrived.
They allways polishing there feathers so to take a picture on this cold day is hell.
So my feathered friend how will you taste, I’m checking the web for recipies.
